Sequins add sparkle and attractiveness to any work you decorate with them. They have a wide range of uses and are attached in various ways. At Christmas they will be a beautiful decoration, attached with pins, to a styrofoam egg or bauble. You decorate with them: clothes, shoes, bags - sewing with thread. Nowadays, it is common to simply use hot glue to attach sequins to cards, boxes, mirrors, etc. For younger kids, pressing sequins into plasticine or other soft mass works wonderfully.
