- Dry pastels with a square cross-section (7x7mm) are used for drawing thin lines, delicate traces or for painting with a wide streak. Extremely soft and easy to apply. They can be rubbed and layered to obtain delicate transitions between colors.
- They have vivid and intense colors and excellent lightfastness. The structure of pastels, a wide range of colors and the vividness of colors allow for velvety smoothness and interesting visual effects. Finished works should be secured with a fixative.
